How it works
We do not ask how the administration works. We ask what the person has to do to get their permit, and how many times they are sent from one office to another.
How we work
The single window connects to the systems that already exist. It reads what is there, pre-fills the form, and writes the approved result into each institution's register. No office gives up its database; every office receives complete files.
First, the specification of the service is written: legal basis, steps, parties, documents, payments, outcome. That specification captures twenty years of United Nations experience in more than 60 countries. From it, AI builds the service; people review and approve every step. That is how a new service takes weeks, not years, and comes out right the first time.
The platform is installed on infrastructure the government controls, with a perpetual licence and training included. The country owns its single window and its data. UNCTAD accompanies as a development partner.

Examples
Register a company, get a tax number, work permits. Who, which document, what it costs, how long it takes.
The trade portal shows every customs, registration and permit procedure before you start. It is the first step to simplifying them.
The small entrepreneur fills in one form and is enrolled with the registry, the tax office, social security and the municipality. Afterwards, the system prepares their declarations.
When the last office approves, the certificate is generated and published. Any bank verifies it by scanning the code.
